I have posted up all my planning and rough working out used to create my trailer. The planning involves the storylines, the storyboard and the dialogue. By doing all this planning, it will be easier to film the scenes because I will know exactly what I am doing.

Digital Technology
The digital technology that I have used to develop my skills for the production work has been camera work and video editing. In groups I carried out a preliminary task where we filmed a short film of someone looking for another person. We used over 10 shots and at different angles to develop our camera skills. After filming, we added the short film to the video editing software where we added music, and editing and cut scenes to produce the final product. This proved to be helpful as it allows me to be more creative and experiment with different angles before producing my actual coursework.

For the past two weeks I have been carrying out research of different forms of film advertising. I have researched and analysed film trailers for the genre of my product. I have also researched film posters and film magazine front covers. By carrying out this research I am able to recognise the conventions of romcoms in order to use them for my coursework. Additionally, I have noted the purpose and the functions and features of trailers.
